Uli Weber, an internationally acclaimed photographer born in Germany, studied in Rome before establishing himself in London. Known for his work in fashion, advertising, and portraiture, his artistry has been compared by critic Ivan Shaw to masters like Henri Cartier-Bresson and August Sander. His photographs, celebrated in fine art circles, have been exhibited at prestigious venues such as London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, Melbourne’s National Gallery of Victoria, and Lecce’s Castle of Charles V, as well as at the Saatchi Gallery and Christie’s.

Weber honed his craft in Italy, blending drama, romance, and glamour. His breakthrough came in 1994 with an Arena cover featuring Sting, leading to commissions for VogueMarie ClaireElle, and GQ, where he captured icons like Keira Knightley, Kate Moss, and Daniel Radcliffe. His 2010 book Portraits (Skira) showcased these works in exhibitions across London, New York, and Milan.

Uli Weber’s recent projects demonstrate his versatility and mastery across diverse subjects, merging artistry with cultural storytelling. After shifting from fashion to motorsport, his acclaimed Goodwood Revival book captured the essence of vintage racing, earning praise from figures like Sir Jackie Stewart and leading to exhibitions in major cities. He further explored timeless themes with The Allure of Horses, a five-year study of the profound bond between humans and horses, later displayed in galleries across Europe.

Weber’s solo exhibitions, Seductions and Moments, highlighted his evolving style in prestigious venues such as Sicily’s Palazzo Riso and Ljubljana Castle. His recent work, Dive & Madrine - a collaboration with Italy’s Ministry of Culture and Cinecittà - reimagined iconic cinema portraits from the Istituto Luce archive, bridging classic and contemporary Italian film. Premiered at the Venice Film Festival, the project received widespread acclaim, with Undersecretary Lucia Borgonzoni praising his "great talent" and Cinecittà’s Chiara Sbarigia commending his ability to reinterpret cinematic history with striking modern vision.
